Proposta de pràctiques

  • Amb el dd, fer una copia d'un disc i provar-ho, una partició i el disc sencer. L'eina més bàsica però més lenta.
  • El clonezilla, varies eines, te un Live Cd. copies per xarxa.
  • Mondo Rescue, copies per xarxa, còpies de seguretat.
  • Una imatge de ubuntu server i desktop buida. Fent estadístiques del temps de còpia. Fer les maquines amb EXT3 i EXT4
  • Alguna eina no suporta el EXT4.
  • Partclone, no ho copia tot, sinó que sols copia el necessari. Eina per línia de comandes.
  • System Rescue CD, partimage. Eina menys coneguda.
  • FOG, fa clonacions, part diferent, instal·lat amb màquina virtual, eina web
  • DRBL de clonezilla fa el mateix que el FOG, imatges per la xarxa, pot fer coses que no va el FOG, per es tot més manual, l'apartat més complicat

El servidor

Una ubuntu server 11.10 de 64 bits, descarregada de http://releases.ubuntu.com/11.10/

  • Nom: servidor-copies
  • Usuari: clone
  • Paraula de pas: clonezilla

OpenSSH-server instal·lat

  • En el servidor ens farà falta una carpeta compartida, per emmagatzema les imatges que copiarem de les altres màquines.
  • El primer que he fet és:

  • Després ens demana de fer aquestes comandes al servidor:
sudo mount -t vboxsf Nom carpeta destí

  • Si tenim algun problema amb el sistema de fitxers de virutalbox, vboxsf, utilitzem aquesta comanda:
# sudo apt-get install virtualbox-ose-guest-utils
  • I finalment he afegit aquesta línia al fitxer /etc/fstab

Xarxa

NOTA: A la màquina virtual he habilitat 2 targetes de xarxa; La primera en adaptador pont per a accés a Internet i la segona en xarxa interna per a fer les proves de clients de manera local.

Instal·lació del DRBL

Afegiré el repositori de DRBL al fitxer sources.list:

$ sudo joe /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://free.nchc.org.tw/drbl-core drbl stable
  • Després executem aquesta comanda per descarregar-mos la clau pública:
$ wget -q http://drbl.sourceforge.net/GPG-KEY-DRBL -O- | sudo apt-key add -
  • Si tenim algun problema amb la baixada de la clau podem descarregar-la amb:
$ wget http://drbl.sourceforge.net/GPG-KEY-DRBL
  • Després la puguem per ssh, he utilitzat aquesta comanda:
$ sudo scp GPG-KEY-DRBL [email protected]:/home/clone/GPG-KEY-DRBL
[email protected]'s password: 
GPG-KEY-DRBL                                  100% 1361     1.3KB/s   00:00 
  • I executem aquesta comanda per afegir-la:
$ sudo apt-key add GPG-KEY-DRBL

En aquesta imatge ja veiem el client com es carrega el clonezilla que li a servit el servidor DRBL.

Restaurant la imatge

Per restaurar la imatge el que hem fet és executar:

# sudo /opt/drbl/sbin/dcs
  • També podríem executar la comanda que ens surt a la part inferior de la imatge.

  • En aquesta imatge ens troben el menú del client, on seleccionem l'opció de restaurar una imatge.

  • Aquí seleccionem la imatge per restaurar, com sols en tenim una, sols hi ha una opció.

  • Aquí seleccionem el disc al que li volem enviar la imatge.

  • Finalment seleccionem entre aquestes opcions, la manera en la qual s'enviara la imatge al client.

Imatges per fer proves

IMPORTANT: Cada vegada que vulguem accedir al servidor, ens hem d'assegurar de no tenir configurat cap proxy a la màquina.

Per a visualitzar les màquines que hi ha fetes: http://192.168.0.252/~imatges/

NOTA: Tots els caràcters extranys que tinguin els noms de els .ova, els hem d'escapar amb contrabarra (\)

Un cop sabem quina màquina volem descarregar, naveguem a la carpeta que volem descarregar la imatge:

$ cd /media/sda5/Baixades/

Podem descarregar la imatge amb:
