Introducció

En els sistemes Linux tot són fitxers, entre els quals hi ha fitxers regulars, directoris, unitats de disc, maquinari, sockets, enllaços, conductes... Tots aquests fitxers es troben a la ruta /dev

Hi ha 3 tipologies de fitxers:

- Fitxers del sistema operatiu: Contenen els fitxers de configuració, els executables, les aplicacions bàsiques del sistema...

- Fitxers d'aplicacions: Són conjunts de fitxers que s'instal·len al sistema.

- Fitxers d'usuari: Contenen informació pròpia dels usuaris, com per exemple documents de text, fitxers multimèdia, fitxers d'aplicacions...

La quantitat i el tipus de fitxers depèn del sistema operatiu, de les aplicacions en sí i de l'ús que fan del sistema els usuaris. Un administrador ha de saber gestionar els fitxers del sistema amb efectivitat.

Noms del fitxers i conceptes bàsics

Sistemes LINUX

L'usuari d'un sistema operatiu ha de donar un nom (que és una cadena de caràcters) senzill i unívoc a cada fitxer del sistema.

En Linux, els noms dels fitxers poden contenir qualsevol caràcter, excepte:

- La barra o / (forward slash): aquest caràcter està reservat per indicar l'arrel del sistema i s'utilitza com a separador de directoris.

- Caràcter null: s'utilitza per indicar el final de segments de text.

Els sistemes Linux són case sensitive, és a dir, distingeixen entre majúscules i minúscules.

Els arxius tenen extensions (per exemple, .txt), que s'utilitzen per comoditat, tot i que no són normatives.

Els directoris a Linux són un tipus especific de fitxer i com a tals se'ls hi aplica les mateixes característiques que als "fitxers normals". Cal tenir en compte però que la carpeta arrel sempre és anomenada /.

La mida dels noms dels arxius és d'entre 1 i 255 caràcters.

Recomanacions:

  • Utilitzar només caràcters alfanumèrics (0-9 i a-z) i en minúscules.
  • Evitar els espais. Normalment s'utilitza un guió baix (_), un guió simple (-) o un pun (.) com a alternativa a l'espai.
  • Com a excepció al comentat anteriorment, alguns noms de fitxers com README, INSTALL, NEWS, AUTHORS, LICENSE s'escriuen típicament en majúscules. Aquest fitxers normalment formen part de la documentació de les aplicacions.

Altres:

  • Es permeten les dobles extensions (nom_arxiu.tar.gz).
  • Un fitxer és un conjunt d'informació relacionada entre sí.

ls. Mostrar els continguts d'un directori

La comanda ls és una abreviatura de list (llistar). Ens permet mostrar els fitxers d'un directori.

La seva execució sense paràmetres mostra el següent:

La comanda ls té diferents paràmetres:

  • Mostrar tots els fitxers (ocults o no): ls -a
  • Mostrar gairebé tots els fitxers (excepte ., | i ..): ls -A
  • Mostrar colors: ls -colors
  • Mostrar recursivament: ls -r
  • Mostrar múltiples directoris de cop: ls directori1 directori2
  • Mostrar més dades dels fitxers: ls -l
  • Mostrar els inodes: ls -i
  • Mostrar mides en format humà: ls -lh
  • Mostrar el sufix (tipus) de fitxer: ls -F
  • No mostrar les còpies de seguretat: ls -B
  • Mostrar només directoris: ls -d
  • Mostrar tota la informació: ls -Flia
  • Mostrar atime timestamp: ls -lu
  • Mostrar ctime timestamp: ls -lc

Modificar l'ordre i el mode en que es mostra la sortida

Hi ha diferents maneres de mostrar els resultats de la comanda ls:

  • -S o --sort=size: Ordena per mida de fitxer. (En el meu cas he utilitzat els paràmetres l per mostrar la mida, h per mostrar la mida en mode humà i S per ordenar les mides)

  • -u o --time=atime: En sortides amb -l ordena per la última data d'accés al fitxer (atime de l'inode)
  • -U o --sort=none: sense ordre. És útil al mostrar carpetes amb molts fitxers, ja que el fet de no ordenar pot fer més ràpida l'execució de l'ordre.
  • -v o --sort=version: Ordena per versió
  • -X o --sort=extension: Ordena per extensió del fitxer.
  • -r o –reverse: Ordre invers

Consultar les marques de temps

Copiar fitxers. cp

Fer una còpia recursiva. Copiar carpetes

Preservar el propietari i els permisos del fitxer

Fer una copia exacte (arxiu)

Copiant enllaços simbòlics

Copiar tot el camí complet

Especificar la carpeta de destinació (--target-directory)

Actualitzar o copiar només si el fitxer origen és més nou que el de destinació (-u update)

Mode interactiu (-i)

Augmentar la quantitat d'informació mostrada a la sortida (verbose)

cp -al

Moure i renombrar fitxers (mv)

L'ordre mv i els inodes

Eliminar fitxers. Ordre rm

$ touch

Crear un fitxer. touch

Modificar només el temps de l'últim accés (-a o --time=atime)

Modificar el temps de l'última modificació (-m o --time=mtime)

Establir una marca de temps concreta
